PRIVACY AND PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION POLICY (GDPR) – GARDINALE

2. Purpose and legal basis for data processing

Personal data is processed for the following purposes:

  1. Performance of the sales contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  2. Managing the user account (optional) and enabling access to order history.
  3. Handling complaints and returns.
  4. Sending commercial information only after consent has been given (newsletter).

3. Scope of processed data

  • First name and last name
  • E-mail address
  • Shipping address
  • Phone number
  • Order history
  • Password (encrypted, non-recoverable)

Note: Creating a user account is optional – purchases can be made without registration.

4. Data sharing

Data may be shared only with:

  • the payment operator (mBank S.A.),
  • courier companies for shipping purposes,
  • entities providing accounting and order handling services.

5. Data retention period

  • Data related to order processing: for the period necessary to complete the order and in accordance with applicable tax regulations.
  • User account: for as long as the account remains active or until it is deleted.

6. Customer rights

Every Customer has the right to:

  1. Access their data and receive a copy of it.
  2. Rectify their data.
  3. Delete their data (“right to be forgotten”).
  4. Restrict data processing.
  5. Data portability.
  6. Lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (PUODO in Poland).

7. Security measures

  • Account passwords are stored in encrypted form.
  • Data sent through contact and order forms is encrypted using the SSL protocol.
  • The Seller applies data protection procedures compliant with the GDPR.

COOKIE POLICY – GARDINALE

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on the Customer’s device for the purpose of:

  • improving website functionality,
  • traffic analysis,
  • maintaining the user session (e.g. a logged-in account).

2. Types of cookies used in the store

  1. Essential – enable the use of the store and order processing.
  2. Functional – allow the website settings and language to be remembered and the account session to be maintained.
  3. Analytical and marketing – used for traffic analysis and future marketing activities (in the future: GA, Meta Pixel, etc.).

3. Consent to cookies

  • By using the website, the Customer agrees to the use of cookies in accordance with this policy.
  • The Customer may change the settings at any time in their browser or via the cookie banner on the website.

4. Data storage

  • Cookies are stored for a maximum of 12 months or until they are deleted by the user.

5. Cookie management

  • The Customer may at any time:
    • disable cookies in the browser settings,
    • delete cookies that have already been stored.
  • Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of the store (e.g. loss of account session).
