Standardization - a guarantee of the amount of active substances

Plants are naturally variable – what grows in one year may have a different potency than the same plant in the next, and concentration alone, even when repeated many times, does not guarantee the presence of the key substances that should be found in a given plant. Standardization is the process that allows us to define precisely how much of the key ingredient should be present in every drop of extract. As a result, every batch is consistent and predictable – if you take one drop of our kelp, you know that you are getting exactly 100 µg of iodine, regardless of the season, harvest location, or natural fluctuations of the plant. Without standardization, you never have that certainty – you are relying on chance.

By precisely defining the amount of a given substance in each drop, you know how much to use so that intake is aligned with your expectations or applicable standards. Standardization can be carried out using various methods – we use the modern, detailed HPLC technique to determine and control the levels of important bioactive substances.

 

S-allyl-L-cysteine (SAC) - the active essence of black garlic

SAC is a unique compound formed during the maturation process of black garlic – one of the most concentrated and stable bioactive forms of sulfur in Nature.

As a precursor of glutathione – a key antioxidant naturally produced by the body – SAC supports its levels in a more balanced and natural way than synthetic counterparts such as NAC.
